SULA Diving provides a range of marine and underwater services from its base in the Orkney Islands. Staff at SULA have been working in Orkney since the 1970s, and initially supported the development of the Flotta oil terminal in Scapa Flow.

SPUMS was founded in 1971 and the purposes of the Society have remained unchanged since its inception: To facilitate the study of all aspects of underwater and hyperbaric medicine, to provide information on underwater and hyperbaric medicine, to publish a journal and to convene members of the Society annually at a scientific conference.

The EUBS is the European scientific society dedicated to the study and promotion of diving and hyperbaric medicine, a fascinating but all too little known field of medicine.

A charitable organisation promoting and supporting the safe and appropriate use of hyperbaric medicine in the British Isles.

UKDMC advises the British Sub-Aqua Club, Sub-Aqua Association and Scottish Sub-Aqua Club on diving medicine issues, which is conducted through a national network of medical referees with accredited diving medicine expertise.
